SVM Timeline
| 1990 | Silicon Valley Microelectronics, Inc. is founded by Patrick Callinan focusing primarily on the sale of ceramic packages. |
| 1993 | SVM moves into its first 1000 ft office at 1440 Kohl Circle. There are 3 employees. |
| 1994 | SVM adds more office space and a 2000 ft warehouse at 1445 Kohl Circle. The fourth and fifth employees are hired. SVM begins to sell JEDEC Trays. |
| 1996 | By 1996, there are 10 employees. The sales group is focusing mainly on selling silicon wafers and jedec trays as the market for ceramic packages was on a steep decline. Another 1000 ft office location is added on Kohl Circle. |
| 1997 | SVM moves into a 5000 ft office space at 97 East Brokaw Rd. The warehouse facility moved to a 2400 ft location on Bering Drive. Employee total is now at 15. |
| 1998 | SVM aquires an additional 4000 ft warehouse facility also on Bering Drive. There are now 20 employees focusing almost entirely on silicon wafers. |
| 2000 | SVM moves to its current location on 1150 Campbell Ave in San Jose located near Santa Clara University. This is a 16,000 ft facility with 5000 ft of office space and 11,000 ft of warehouse space all under one roof. By this time there were 25 full time employees and SVMs sales numbers had risen to $15 million. |
| 2003 | SVM continues to grow and develop, focusing entirely on providing extraordinary customer service, specializing in same day shipments from our multi-million dollar inventory. With 25 full-time employees ready to assist you in a number of different languages, SVM can handle all of your wafer and wafer processing needs. |
